A Day by the Seaside, Gurney’s Inn/Historic Montauk

U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, Ct. Lunch at Historic Griswold Inn

We will begin with a delicious lunch at the historic Griswold Inn in the quaint village of Essex Ct.. Afterwards, we’ll get, a unique opportunity for a cadet-guided tour of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, a most scenic campus overlooking the Thames River. Our tour will include a visit to the quarterdeck, academy museum, the training ship Eagle, and a full dress Cadet Drill Parade, if scheduled. Some walking involved.
