He is also the Treasurer of the Friends of the Farmingdale Library, the number one support group for the library. He is a voracious reader and has been a staunch supporter of our library system since moving to Farmingdale. Tom's entire business career has been in finance; he is currently a Senior Credit and Collections Analyst with a large, well-known Long Island company. His primary interests outside his career, are traveling, reading, and spending time with his family and his granddaughter.

Laura Ulric, Vice-President

Laura's long service as a library trustee has witnessed a period of great growth for the library. Her first project was to work diligently with the Friends of the Library and with the community to get the new library approved and built. In fact, she was the president of the board when the new facility was opened.

Laura is a graphic designer. She also designs and makes the costumes for the plays at the Farmingdale High School and is active in a number of community groups as well as the library. She is a member of the Farmingdale Community Summit Council, where she serves on the Community Expo Committee, and she serves on the executive board of the Friends of the Farmingdale Library. Laura is the library's liaison to the school board and travels with the Lobby Committee to Albany in pursuit of more state aid for our district. She is also a member of the school district's facilities committee.
