Farmingdale Public Library Special Needs Collection

The Farmingdale Public Library has and extensive collection of materials in our Special Needs collection. This collection is designed to assist all members of the community, including parents and family members, educators, all therapists, social workers, and psychologists in understanding and addressing the issues of the developmentally disabled from infancy through adulthood. There are DVD's, videos, curriculum guides, periodicals, and books on these topics as well as many others. We also have flash cards and games which can be taken out of the library.

Join us each Monday night and play board games with friends. This class is led by a special education teacher and is recommended for the child that can carry on a conversation and engage in cooperative play. Register online beginning June 29. Preference given to UFSD #22 residents.

Get your dancing shoes on! We are going to learn all those fun dances everyone is doing at weddings, sweet 16's, and birthday parties. Register online beginning June 29. Preference given to UFSD #22 residents.
