Our staff is ready to help you and your students. But we need your help too. We have designed the Assignment Alert form to facilitate easy communication.
Click here to fill out the Assignment Alert form.
Please take a few minutes to complete and send the form to us as you prepare to assign research projects to you students. It would be extremely helpful if you could try to give us a minimum of 1 week notice to collect/prepare the materials you request.
Did you know that if you are a teacher in the Farmingdale School District you can get a library card? You can! Please come to the Circulation Desk with your teacher ID or pay stub and fill out the application.
With your library card you can check out books, books on CD, educational DVDS (sorry, no feature films), and you can access our many electronic resources available our on website.
It would be our pleasure to visit your class. We love being invited into the classroom and can gear our presentations to any age group. We can prepare a book talk, an introduction to our website/or electronic resources, or share a few stories. Just ask! To schedule a school visit please call Elena Jannello at 516-249-9090 ext. 219.
